About Rochelle
I'm originally from Seattle, Washington and moved down to North Carolina many years ago. I miss the vibrant art and unique designs of the city. The exquisite architecture is reason alone to go back. But for right now I am determined to make my mark on North Carolina as an up and coming designer.
I've always had a love for design. I believe there is a gene for creativity and it runs in my family. My mom and dad were both artists, and my sister and I got it from them. My two children are creative, as well. I've always had a artistic hand; not trying to sound conceded or anything. I've decided to take my creative gift and share it through designs.
Design Timeline
I grew up rough and without much. (Insert traumatic childhood here.) My childhood helped shape the way I see and understand people. I want to help them express themselves as comfortably as I've grown to.
I've always liked re-decorating, re-arranging, and re-vamping everything around my home, especially my room because it was the one place I always had ultimate creative freedom.
I was home with my one year old son, pregnant with my daughter, and morning design shows were my solitude. My favorite was 'The Nate Berkus Show'. I fell in love with his designs and chose him as my mentor.
After going to school for my degree in business administration, I decided to go back for my degree in interior design. I'm currently in school and working hard to earn my degree.
